Alice Tumler (born November 11, 1978 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian television presenter .
life and career
Alice Tumler was born in Innsbruck from Martinique to an Austrian father and a French mother . At the age of 19 she moved to London where she studied journalism, media and sociology. After graduating, she moved to Paris , where she attended courses at the Cours Florent drama school. The studies were followed by stays in Italy and the Antilles . There she moderated a radio show, among other things. Tumler's career as a television presenter began with the French music channel TraceTV . Another engagement brought her to ARTE . Since 2013 she has moderated the ORF format Die Große Chance . In May 2015 she hosted the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in the Wiener Stadthalle together with Mirjam Weichselbraun and Arabella Kiesbauer .
In October 2015 she was named Tyrolean of the year by Governor Günther Platter .
Personal
Alice Tumler speaks German , English , French , Italian , Spanish and Portuguese .
She is the mother of two daughters (* 2011, 2016) and last lived in Lyon with her French partner Francis Nyock until she returned to Austria .
