The men's 800-meter run at the 1958 European Athletics Championships was held from August 19 to 21, 1958 in the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
The British Michael Rawson became European champion . He won Audun Boysen before the Norwegian European Championship third in 1954 . Bronze went to the German runner Paul Schmidt .
